They say if you write down your goals then you are more likely to hold yourself accountable and make them happen.
Here goes nothing:
1| Learn to shoot film & incorporate it into my business
This is the BIGGEST goal & one that’s been closest to my heart since I since I started this business. This will ultimately take the most time out of all of my goals but I am READY and want this more than anything. (Let’s just hope I made the nice list & Santa has a Contax 645 in his bag for me. If not, I have a backup plan but I am really pulling for you Santa.)
2| Build closer relationships with vendors in the wedding industry.
This will be fun & it is the best time in the industry to do this with so much power behind the Community over Competition movement.
3| Exceed the number of features from 2015 in 2016.
In 2015 my goal was ONE feature, I just wanted someone to love my work as much as I did and share it. With a ridiculous amount of hard work and a lot of heart: I’ve been featured EIGHT times this year. I could not be more grateful.
4| Attend a film workshop.
This will be fun, but intimidating, & crazy expensive. Above all it will be necessary in order to give my clients the experience that I have been dreaming of for so long.
5| Blog at least once a week.
This will be tough, blogging is extremely time consuming and sometimes you feel like you are sharing with the whole world but not a single person hears you. In 2016, I will make the biggest effort to blog regularly.
And because what’s a post without pictures : Here’s some holiday cheer from The Stockwell residence and having the most fun with friends and my new toy.
